Fun Links!
Although I haven't been blogging as of much lately, I have been keeping up on interesting stuff on the internet. Some of these I may follow up on, some of these are just awesome to share. I find lots of this stuff, so I may do this more than once ... Enjoy!
- These pictures of the mega-sized crystals in Mexico's Naica silver mines are incredible! Read the first-hand accounts of the gypsem crystals in these caves 900 feet underground, larger than most trees. (Discovery)
- Zach Motl, a theatre major and upcoming interior designer in New York City, manages to fit all of his worldly collections into the 'roomy 178 square feet' of his Brooklyn apartment. (The New York Times)
- It doesn't have to be the dictionary on the sacrificial slab. It could be a thesaurus. All books are equal when it comes to this DIY paper rosette, right? (Handmadeology)
- Cupcakes don't necessarily incite fear, but people will like you more than if you gave them a bomb. (Yahoo!)
- A very excellent DIY project for all those soda pop bottles you'll have around in the summer. (Etsy)

deviantART is GO!
deviantART is a positive community of artists who share their work for critique and feedback, as well as a chance to sell prints and merchandise of their work. You can get some of my photographs on magnets, mugs, coasters and postcards ... and lots more! I've made some great connections and met some fantastic artists of all mediums, and I hope we continue to inspire each other.
Please enjoy the work I've produced, and let me know what you think. I've got a master plan to build a portfolio to apply to a design school, so be ruthless! Look for the button above on the left hand side of the blog to take you to the gallery!
